The Poly A 123 and Poly AY 123 IOLs have fenestrated C-loop haptics designed to autocentrate and provide maximum lens stability in either small or large capsular bags. Their 13mm overall diameter allows for ciliary sulcus implantation. Their 5° angulation ensures a safe distance between the IOL’s optic and the iris plane.
Poly-sized to accommodate all dimensional situations
Capsular bag contraction leads to gentle compression of the lenses’ haptics thus increasing their contact with the capsular bag periphery. This controlled deformation maintains the optic in its initial position and minimises the pressure on the capsular bag periphery.
Aspheric to improve quality of vision
With their aspheric aberration-correcting optic, these lenses partly compensate the corneal spherical aberration for improving contrast sensitivity while preserving depth of field. Their comfortable 6.3mm optic ensures optimal quality of vision, whatever the pupil size and light conditions, and makes retinal examination more accessible.
Blue Tech to ensure retinal protection
Improved retinal protection is offered when using Poly AY and Poly AY 123. The addition of the BlueTech yellow chromophore optimises UV light filtration and attenuates the transmission of potentially phototoxic blue light.
2-Step Technology to prevent PCO
With their 360° square edge, the Poly A 123 and Poly AY 123 IOLs oppose a continuous barrier to LECs migration. The anterior capsulorhexis will easily overlap the large 6.3mm optic, contributing to prevent PCO. The 5° haptic angulation maximises the anti-PCO effect by increasing the pressure of the optic onto the posterior capsule
Preloaded to ensure easy and reproducible injection
The 123 Premium preloaded system allows for smooth, consistent and safe delivery of these IOLs. It associates the lens delivered in its injection cartridge and a single-use injector.
A simple click and the lens is ready for injection through a 2.2mm incision.
